How it works

  • Song & recording revenue. Streams for each track are converted into annual publishing and master-rights income at the selected per-stream rate and royalty share.
  • Exponential DCF. Revenue declines by a constant rate each year, a conservative curve that suits newer releases.
  • Hyperbolic DCF. Revenue follows an Arps decline curve: steep early fall-off that flattens over time, matching how established catalogue tends to settle into a long tail.
  • Blended value. Both cash-flow streams are discounted to present value, with an optional declining-perpetuity terminal value. The headline figure is the average of the two models.
  • Range. Bear, base and bull cases flex the discount and decay assumptions around the blended result.
